In 1987, dusk came while the last record still played in the living room. By the time dinner was cleared, the cassette deck was ready for a tape someone had copied from an album. Later, a reel of tape sat waiting beside the stereo, while the compact discs stayed stacked for another night. Bedtime came with shelves full of music, each format marking a different part of the years. That is the idea behind it.
