My name is Daniel O'Dell
I am 62 yrs old and born and raised in Kansas City Mo
This is the story that inspired me to buy the Raised on Vinyl and V8"s shirt.
As a young boy growing up in the 60's my parents had a lot of Vinyl records of country music.
It was around 1973 when my older brother introduced me to rock and roll.
He had every vinyl records of Rush, Styx, Kansas, Peter Frampton, Kiss and on and on and on.
This it where the V8's come into the story.
My dad had a 1968 Chevy SS El Camino that was pretty fast and I love the speed that car put out.
My moms brothers all had fast cars.
In the late 70"s to early 80's when I was in High School there were cars from 50's to early 70"s being drove to school.
I remember on the weekend we would pick a spot and would meet other schools to see who had the fastest car.
I always remember it was usually the Big Block Chevy that would dominate the street.
So when I saw this shirt that was for sale I knew it was the right one for me.
So this is my story and why I had to have this shirt.
I will wear it proudly and thank you so much for coming up with it.

I ordered a hat from this OLDmanism as a birthday gift to a buddy and had it shipped directly to his house. Unfortunately he never received it. When I reached out to the company for more information that may help us locate the package, Frank immediately responded with the information requested and continued to stay in touch while USPS tried to figure out who stole the package. Unfortunately they were not able to track it down and when I let Frank know, he immediately shipped a new hat to my buddy which he received and loved a week later. Between both of us we have six replacement joints, four knees, two hips...with a set of dentures thrown in for good measure.
Yesterday we wore the hats to a two week checkup with the surgeon for the latest new knee and it was a big hit in the office.

I ordered two caps (retired and Old Fashioned) from Oldmanism... they were packed, shipped and received very quickly.... So I ordered an "Old Fashioned" cap for my son and sent it to him. After two weeks, the clip on my "Old Fashioned" hat broke. I sent a picture to Frank and staff, and my email was answered in less than 24 hours with an offer to replace the hat for free... This company has great merchandise, and their customer support is excellent. I will definitely purchase more stuff in the future.

I was really excited to receive this shirt and don’t get me wrong. I really like it. The only complaint I have is the print is a little less bold as I thought it would be. It’s somewhat faded looking.

Attached are a couple images my girlfriend (80) (of 33 years living in sin) took of me (age 79) and "PROBLEM CHILD" a nostalgic Drag Racing 1962 Ford Falcon B/GASSER, all tube custom made chassis, 425 HP Small Block Chevy sticking out of the hood, roll bar, etc. etc.. VERY FAST.
Here in Montana it is street legal - except for in the city limits of Missoula, Mt. with a noise ordinance, which I VOID after 10 PM. This is just one of three Fast things I own.
We live in a remote ranch in the true back country of West Central Montana. I have everything that will eat you and your horses any given month of the year.
Been retired 21 years from a Law enforcement career. Yea I know it's hard to believe - still playing with cars.
Winter time I hunt and trap wolves full time.
Yes, the end of the power grid is remote, and it is not unusual to get snowed in for a few days at a time.
Yes I am old, really old, but still going strong - well most of the time.
