VINTAGE SWEATSHIRT

At dusk in 1976, the porch light came on before the domino game was finished. Your neighbor kept score with tally marks on the back of an envelope. By the time the last tile went down, the tea had gone cold and somebody was still arguing over a double six. You put the tiles back in their tin, shut off the light, and went to bed knowing you would hear about that score again. That is the idea behind it.
The line works because “More Me” gives the years and stories somewhere to land. The tally marks look like a count, but they stand for everything that came with it. Grandparents and old friends who have lived long enough to retell a good argument over dominoes will read it and nod. It is not a lecture about aging or a complaint about getting older.
Warmth for the longer story: The 50/50 cotton-polyester fleece blend is warm and soft. Good for an evening when one story leads to another.
