In 1993, the family computer sat on a card table beside a stack of printer paper. “What did you name the file?” Lee asked. “I remember writing the letter,” Jo said. The cursor blinked while they tried every name they could think of. That is the idea behind it.
The line works because “Details Missing” sounds like a computer warning and an honest report from your own head. “Memory Full” says the letter is still in there, even if the file name is gone. Anyone who remembers saving a file on the family computer will read it and nod. The RAM stick makes the joke clear without explaining it twice. It is not a lecture or a complaint.
