getting-older-wasnt-my-plan-sweatshirt
"Getting Older Wasn't In My Plan, But Here I Am." Vintage Sweatshirt

The wooden gate dragged a groove through the dirt. You lifted it off its hinges, planed the swollen bottom by hand, and hung it back up. It swung clear, though getting up from the ground took a little longer than the repair. You put the plane away before the light went. That is the idea behind it.

The line works because “But Here I Am” makes a change of plans sound like a plain fact. It is not a complaint, either.

Warm enough to stay a while: The 50/50 cotton-polyester fleece blend is warm and soft.
